2024 Stake F1® Team KICK Sauber C44 Official Show Car.

As the proud supplier of official F1 show cars, F1 Authentics presents the striking C44; built in partnership with the newly branded Stake F1 Team Kick Sauber for the 2024 season, this car was first unveiled to the world on 5th February at Guildhall London.

Entrusted by the team, whom we’ve partnered with for many years through their Sauber, Alfa Romeo and now Stake F1 Team eras, F1 Authentics is again able to bring the team’s current car to market. Built by skilled technicians and engineering experts with decades of experience in F1 and Motorsport, our C44 Show Cars are a testament to our company's dedication to perfection. 

Manufactured using official CAD data supplied by Stake F1 Team Kick Sauber, each detail of the C44 is recreated - bringing a new meaning to the word ‘precision’. Whilst not housing gearboxes or engines, these cars are exact replicas of the ones that will battle it out on track and are crafted using the same processes. 

The C44s used by the team will be driven on-track by ten-time race winner Valtteri Bottas and his teammate Zhou Guanyu throughout the 2024 FIA Formula One World Championship™. 

Stake F1 Team Kick Sauber is sending a message through their livery in 2024. Their ‘Unleashed’ campaign captures their underdog spirit and their relentless pursuit of excellence. This campaign is depicted through their striking new design which is in complete contrast to their previous looks and will defiantly standout when racing.

At Memento Exclusives (F1 Authentics) we start with the two primary principles of the car design ‘Chassis & Aerodynamic. This involves our Design Team utilising their creativity and CAD software to create 3D model surfaces to manufacture parts with the same flexibility and speed as the modern day F1 Teams. Many of the components on our F1 cars are made in-house. 

Over 120 patterns were machined for the Stake F1 Team Kick Sauber C44 project. Patterns are machined out of PU tooling board and are surface finished to ensure the moulds are perfect. We spend over 80 hours hand preparing and spraying patterns. 

Handing over to Composites, the chassis, bodywork and wings are made from lightweight materials such as carbon fibre, which is strong and durable, allowing for us to replicate the real cars.  

Composite components are hand-made in moulds using the same techniques used in F1 to ensure parts can take the loads whilst maintaining a perfect surface finish. Once parts are laminated, they are cured in our autoclaves. 

Next, they are hand trimmed and assembled into the part assemblies on the car. The non-carbon fibre parts go through a similar process of design and manufacture - such as our metallic and machined parts - and are checked for tolerances. 

The Paint Shop then spends over 100 hours preparing and painting cars; before this, the parts are smoothed with sandpaper abrading. When the parts are ready for paint, the car is lined out and has 3-4 coats applied ahead of the final colour, before being baked. Stickering and livery is applied.  

The complete process from designing the modelled car concept to manufacturing parts and rolling out the car on display, can take up to 15 weeks.
