Description:

1959 Fiat-Abarth Derivazione 750 Berlina race car Very rare 1st generation car acquired from the estate of well known Abarth collector Dr. Steve Knee in 2000 (he wrote and signed a letter of authenticity for the car). Fitted with a fresh 1000cc engine based on the Fiat 903 block. Later 600D gearbox installed (stronger than the original unit). Original tachometer mounted and an additional modern tachometer to accurately monitor the engine revs. Original 90 MPH speedometer. Original 12" Abarth vented steel wheels with race tires mounted. The original driver's seat is included in addition to the race seat shown in the photos. The car is race prepared but could easily be converted back to street use if desired. Currently displayed in my collection alongside an Abarth 1000 TC, a Fiat Topolino Abarth, and a Fiat 600 Jolly. This car deserves a new caretaker that will put it back on the race track where it belongs! For those of you overseas Abarth enthusiasts, I can arrange inexpensive shipping anywhere in the world. This would be a great car for events such as the Coppa Mille: www.abarth-coppa-mille.com/
