History
This has always been a race-car (Solid/no rust). This powertrain, was successfully campaigned in VSCDA and SVRA events by the previous owner: . . . "this “948†FULL RACE engine is very strong: . . . really comes on between 6500 and 8500 rpm.(pulling over 8500 rpm before the Brake point on a long front straight). Even at 8500 rpm, that little motor wants to keep on going! Speed: Running a 4:87 rear diff ratio, this computes to over 100mph before the Brake point. Even at 8500 rpm, that little motor wants to keep on going!†(confirmed at both Blackhawk Farms and Gratton.) I experienced the 948's performance for a couple dozen practice laps using a 7400 rpm limit. YEP! It is quick and, YEP! the little engine definitely has room to go.Performance Data
