Description:
Still for sale as of April 1, 2011. Relocation has changed my priorities so I am offering up for sale my 95 BMW M3 project. We were building the car for a track day toy/club racer. The chassis has a full cage installed by TC Design that runs from the front shock towers to the rear shock towers with the diff reinforcement. It has the reinforcement plates at the A-pillar. It is not a NASCAR style. The entire chassis was stitch welded and the sunroof was sealed. The hood is carbon fiber with stock shocks and the trunk has a carbon fiber wing and is latched by some flush mounted AeroCatch Plus latches. There is quite a bit of detail done inside as all the holes have been sealed as per most association rules. We moved the Sparco EVO driver seat over 3 to give more helmet to roll bar clearance, boxing in the tunnel, centering the Woodward Fab collapsible steering column with Quick-Release for the Momo 350mm model 80 steering wheel. The driver and passenger have diamond plate floor covers. Both also have custom latching window nets. The front and rear windows and rear glass are made from Lexan. In the trunk is a custom mounted 26 gal Fuel Safe racing cell with rollover valve. We also made a custom cut-out for the filler hose that goes to the stock fuel door location. The fuel system has an Aeromotive Tsunami fuel pump feeding the -8 aluminum fuel line to the front and -6 return comes from the Aeromotive A-1000 pressure regulator with a separate sampling valve. There is a 100 micron filter on the inlet and a 40 micron on the outlet. The suspension consists of TC Kline double adjustable shocks with E30 camber caster plates in the front that bolt to a custom plate that is welded to the top of the strut towers that we had cut by a water-jet . The lower control arms are brand new. The rear shocks are topped by Monoball shock mounts. The rear lower control arms are fully adjustable, and there are Ground Control bearings on the trailing arms. All the hubs have black 75mm wheel studs. The Euro 3.2l EVO engine w/ 72k miles came from Bimmerworld . The head was cleaned up and some custom cams were installed before delivery. There is a custom program in the DME. It is also supplied with the factory wiring harness and a brand new EWS. The engine was detailed and the hardware was plated and the valve cover powder coated. It has AN fittings for an external oil cooler. The underdrive pulley kit was supplied by EvoSport. The stock exhaust was Jet-Coated. The aluminum flywheel and heavy duty clutch kit was supplied by Bimmerworld as well and the car is shifted by a UUC Evo3 shifter connected to the stock M3 five speed transmission. The engine and transmission mounts are solid. Finally there is a new Fluidyne radiator installed in front. All modifications were done at Bavarian Workshop in West Hills, CA. Everything was built with overkill in mind to try and make a tough, dependable, FUN car.All that is needed to make this is a runner would be some brakes and wiring (a pretty paint job would be nice too!). Buyer is responsible for arranging shipping and payment.
