1975 Chevron B29 Formula Atlantic - SOLD
This is now SOLD. Search for similar items.
Description:
This is probably the least used Chevron B29 of the 25 produced and was ordered
new from the factory in 1975 by Albert Poon of Malaysia. At the time the
records show that the model had considerable race success including wins in the UK
John Player Championship. The car has only 15 Race Meetings since 1975 and to our best
knowledge was never crashed. It is immaculate, original and ready to race and win.
History
For the 1975 season Chevron decided to focus their open wheel efforts on Formula Atlantic.
They produced a front running car which yielded a string of victories. This car is the 5th of 25
built and went initially to Malaysia. From there it went to Sweden and ultimately to
Australia.
Below is the ownership history plus results
provided by Leif Norberg. Albert Poon was of little help in the results
department but remembers the car well.
