Description:
Offered is a Corvette roadster that participated in SCCA racing in the late 60’s and early 70’s in the “B Production†class. The car raced at Laguna Seca, Riverside and other tracks in Southern California and Arizona. Originally owned by Dr. Bruce Helford, the car is decorated in a red-white-and-blue color scheme. It last competed as Number 18 fielded by Ron Leahey Enterprises. The car has been in storage for about 12 years and is not in running condition. There is no vehicle VIN number and would require an effort to register as a street-legal automobile. The car includes a small block (327 cu in) Chevrolet engine, 4-speed transmission, and rear end. Four wheels are included but only two tires. The roll bar does not meet current racing specifications. Safety equipment, such as multi-point racing harnesses, are also no longer current. Please make an offer for this former SCCA racer.
