This car is the last Cooper Formula 3 car ever produced. It is serial number 4 of 4 produced in 1959. The car remains unpainted as it came from the factory, it is unaltered and race ready.


History

This car was driven by Alexis Dupont and Hap Sharpe. Dupont raced the car twice, once at Silverstone, once at Brands Hatch. The car has since been raced frequently by the current owner (owned since 1972) with much success and reliability. It carries a Norton Manx Francis Beart engine and, even has Beart's own serial number. It has a wrap around windscreen similar to Formula Junior and unlike any prior F3 Cooper. There have been 3 owners on this never restored, just continuously maintained, race ready car. Performance Data
