1999 Ford Taurus, Hutcherson-Pagen Chassis, down force intermediate body, Penske engine w/785hp, originally built by A.J. Foyt, Jerico transmission, raced in one ARCA race this year at Kentucky, top 20 finish, engine freshened by Ed Ash, planned to qualify and run Charlotte ARCA race but the rains came. Car is perfect, ARCA inspected and ready to race. 4.11 rear end with a Detroit Locker. Sponsor problems force my sale. Can be run in Historic Race Series, or updated for 2004 ARCA series with body (nose/tail) update. Asking $ 32,500.


History

This car was built for A.J. Foyt for one of his last NASCAR races at the inagural Brickyard 400 at Indianapolis. It has a Hutcherson-Pagen Chassis and a 785 hp Penske motor. The car only was raced once in 2003 at the ARCA Kentucky Motor Speedway and engine has been freshened by engine builder Ed Ash.
