Car was built and raced in CASC by Yvonne Charette 1976 thru 1992. Car was very successful as described in several media articles included with sale. Sometime during this ownership the car was converted to a Ford Twin Cam 1.6L engine. Second owner restored car(including exterior repaint)in 1998 and participated in 3 Canadian VARAC vintage races before selling to current owner in 2004. Car has since raced 9 VSCDA weekends while getting several upgrades/rebuilds including: -engine rebuild with new Billet crank..data/dyno sheets provided-MSD ignition-New low mileage Lotus Seven Ford transmission-New light weight flywheel,Tilton racing clutch and annular throw-out bearing-upgraded oil system plumbing,-steering gear rebuild with structural upgrade to front rail mounts -Upgraded exhaust with quick change from "open" to Super Trap depending on Vintage noise regulations. Car is presented as "Race Ready" with 3 race weekends on new engine. Car has an extensive Spares Package including:-Disassembled Spare 1.6L Twin Cam engine(90% of parts) -Disassembled Close Ratio Ford "Rocket" Trans Complete with new shifter rails/Forks/synchros/bearings ready for rebuild.-3 sets of Wheels with Mounted Hoosier Vintage Race tires -Weber carburetor hardware/jetting -Pictures of the complete extensive spares package to numerous to outline can be viewed in Dropbox upon request.
