Description:
1969 Lola T-70 Mark III B. Here is your chance to own one of the prettiest race cars ever made. Complete with FIA papers and SVRA log- book. Equipped with an all aluminum big cubic-inch small block Chevy putting out around 700 horsepower with Kinsler fuel injection, and Proper Lola Hewland LG 600 5 Speed Gearbox. Currently fitted with 17 inch wide rear wheels and 12 inch wide front wheels. These cars handle exceptionally well and are an absolute ball to drive. Company owner has owned and raced this car in many events. A safe, fun, and extremely fast machine! This continuation car was built by Mac McClendon, who has rebuilt and built more Lola cars than anyone. His workmanship is remarkable in every way. The car is dead on, hence the FIA papers which is only given to cars that meet there stringent requirements of being built exactly as they were built by Lola in the day. It is the number SL76/136 - this number was skipped in the original batch of 1969 and was installed to give the car an identity but it is not one of the original cars built in 1969 and therefore must be considered a continuation car. There are more Mark III B Lola's being raced today than the factory ever built in the day because of the cars unique beauty and drivability. Would consider street cars as partial payment.
