Description:

This car has been completely restored. Steve Miller stripped it to the bare chassis, refurbished it,
reinforced it structurally, and painted it. The suspension is nickel plated and incorporates Hiem
joints for adjustability. The body is refurbished and has yellow Imron with a green stripe. Restoration
has been done by Stephen Patience Restorations and Phill Reilly & Co. from 1985 to 1996. The engine
was prepared by Phil Reilly & Co. in 1995 and after 8 races was removed for a rebuild in July 1998.
A Mk9 Hewland transaxle was provided by Taylor Race Engineering and fitted in December 1997. There are
zero hours on the car since rebuild. Total receipts for restoration and maintenance exceed $93,000.
Two Renault transaxles are supplied as spares for those required to employ them.

This example of the milestone Lotus 18 is fully documented with each of the eight owners since the original
