Description:


This Elan is a no expense spared FIA historics effort. It is a top running car with literally
the best of everything. Preparation costs for the car exceeded $85,000 U.S. The spares package
is easliy valued at $20,000. To enhance its marketability it is offered with a choice of engine
specification, either a FIA legal twincam for the European series or a modern full-race twincam
for U.S. or other National racing. Two transmissions are inclided with different ratios.
Three limited slip differentials are included with varying final drives. Two different front
suspension packages are included, one which is fully FIA compliant and one which is questionable.
This is surely one of the best built and most sorted racing Elans in the world.


History

The car was built/restored during ocktober 1995 to april 1996. The car was originally from the U.S.,
sold through Duchess Auto. It resided in California for twenty years before returning to England.
It currently has an English title.


Competition History

Car has raced at Monza 3:d, Nurburgring 3:d, Salzburgring, Brno 4:th,
Anderstorp 5:th (FIA races)
Several other national races.
