Lotus Elan 1966
Description:
This Lotus Elan was one of the last SE's built. It was imported into New York from England in 1966, converted into a racecar and has been raced since 1972. Upgraded to some Lotus 26R standards with CV joints, MSD ignition, and a twin cam dry sump engine (last rebuilt by Jay Ivey in 2015). The car has been campaigned in SCCA as well as Vintage races throughout the years by several different drivers and owners. I am 86 years old and have not been able to compete with the car for the last 5 years and it has been sitting in my garage for that period of time. The engine should be gone through and freshened up. Many spare parts come with it.
