History
Chassis #30 was previously owned by Kevin Shipley in Denver and Steve Marx in Steamboat Springs, Colorado. It saw brief competition in the Rocky Mountain Vintage Assocation before it was completely restored. It has undergone that restoration by Tim Greenshields in Colorado Springs at the 100% mark. New or restored parts have been purchased from Europe, the U.S. and Canada. Tim reports that literally all washers, bolts, springs, and various connectors have been replaced or polished. The body has been restored with 80 hours of fiberglass work, repair, strengthening, and paint from Ferrari. The HART 1.6 engine, Hewland FT2000 5-speed, and clutch package has seen an extensive number of hours under the special guidance of Steve Wulff at Performance Development Racing, located in Ft. Collins, Colorado. All suspension parts, uprights, brackets, and engine mounts have been nickel-plated or powder coated. New electronics power the ignition system, which compliment the new gauges found in the driver's cockpit. The original March magnesium wheels have been restored, polished, and painted. Two sets of restored and x-rayed Revolution wheels also come with the car. An Indy style seat was molded for a custom fit.
