DBE-45 was the only B8 to escape a racing life and sold for road use in America and offered with supporting "Pink Slip" and letter authenticity.

The car proved to difficult for even occasional road use and was soon parked up and fell into disrepair for some 30 years before being shipped to Switzerland where it was restored and used for hill climbing until 2003 when it was brought back to the UK and brought up to full racing specification.

Unlike so many other B8's claiming to be the ex so and so car and been cloned many times this car is absolutely the genuine article.

I have owned the cars since 2011 and carrying out a meticulous ground up rebuild in 2015 / 16 with new brake master cylinders / callipers / rotors, new ProLite 350 / Aeroquip hoses / fittings, new purpose moulded shatterproof acrylic windows, professionally wired by a race car electrician, new Willans FIA fuel bag, all new NMB rod ends / track ends / spherical bearing / wheel bearings. New Koni (correct period) shocks, and complete back to gel coat re-paint.

The car has had 7 hours running since and comes with a completely rebuilt engine Zero miles  M10 BWM built to highest spec with new rods, crank, valves and guides, and Zero miles Mark Baily FT 200 gearbox.

The car is absolutely race ready and NOT requiring another £30k spent to get it to standard  claimed. All that is required is to fuel, load on the trailer and go racing.

The car is just about eligible for everything, including Master, Peter Auto, Guards Trophy and many more, could be raced most weekends of the season somewhere.

The cars come with new type 2016 HTP, additional long range fuel tank, Lifeline Zero 360 electric fire system, ignition system, nose and other misc running spares.
