1986 MARCH INDY LIGHTS CAR, CHASSIS #3 and spare tub #31. complete restoration in 2014. Only two races since.Just about new everything, new brakes, new brake lines, new wheel bearings, new oil lines, new oil coolers, fresh engine and trans. Engine is the Buick V6 with electronic fuel injection. On the flywheel dyno we got 475 hp at 7,000 rpm. In 1986 CHAMP car made the INDY Lights series its premier feeder series. Teams like Penske, Patrick , Trusport, Arciero, and more participated. Easy to race and maintain. Huge inventory of spares, including, a arms, bell housings, uprights, front a and rear wings and wing posts, two sets of BBS wheels


History

The history of both tubs is unknown to us at this time, except for one later picture of car racing at LONG BEACH in 1988, painted pink and a lady was driver of record. Because of the low chassis number , #3, we know it went through the hands of one of the original big teams like, Penske or Patrick, or TRUESPORT.Performance Data
