Project: Offered by original owner: Merlyn Mk 3 FJr. extensive history, original invoice. This Mk 3 is the second car Merlyn of North America imported into the US in 1961. It was the team car, Nassau 1961, Daytona 62, Sebring 62. Google Sebring and Dayton FJr. race to see finishing positions. 12R was driven extensively in the South, South West, and South East. Car is completely apart, rebuild original VW four speed transmission with all upgrades, new body, engine block, rear uprights, frt. and rear suspension part, four Alfin drum brakes, exterior frt, interior rear, steering rack etc.etc.


History

This is the second Merlyn Mk 3 FJr. I imported from Colchester Racing Developments in 1961, SN 12R. I raced the car extensively in Texas, Louisiana, Florida, Nassau, Sebring. I have the original invoice. The car was driven by, C. Kolb, R. Ward, D. Love, and P.Flanery.
