Description:


Fast and successful Hawke DL-2A from the early 70's. This same model won the formula ford championship in 1972. Hawke race cars were at the forefront of this class with not only success at the runoffs but the marque also won the Scottish Championship with Tom Walkinshaw driving. The owner and designer of Hawke was David Lazenby, Jim Clarks mechanic at Indy and a former Lotus employee. This car is #18-190. The SCCA logbook is included. A former owner was Cliff Ebben, a Road America legend The car was Vintage raced in the late 90's and has a fuel cell, fire system and all Aeroquip fittings. The Quicksilver engine has low hours and is very strong. Included are 18 gear sets for any type of racing. The body work and car prep was done at Motion Products. The car has not been run in six years and although the tires look like new they are hard and need to be replaced.
