Description:

Both of the original Kingfish Eagle copies.  The 98 car was originally the 19 car.  Greg Weld did not qualify at Indy in '73, Bentley Warren was fast enough in '74 but in line when it rained.  Sheldon Kinser qualified and finished 12th in '75 as the "Spirit of Indiana".  Later changed to Chevy power and driven by Gary and Tony Bettenhausen Jr.  Last raced at Watkins Glen in '80 where Tony Jr. crashed after taking the checker for qualifying. The 24 car ran most of '73 and '74.  Qualified 7th at Indy in '73 with Steve Krisiloff, finished 6th.  The car was unsponsored for qualifying but picked up Norton Corp sponsorship for the race and was listed as the "Norton Spirit".  Was painted blue with a yellow stripe for the race.  In '74 qualified 8th by Tom Sneva.  Sneva's first year "in the show".  Ran in the top ten, as high as 5th, before mechanical failure @ lap 92.  Qualified by Bentley Warren in '75, wrecked in the rain. The 24 car never raced after the '75 500.  BOTH 60" WINGS FROM 1973 ARE INCLUDED IN THEIR ORIGINAL PAINT.
