Description:
1972 Shadow DN2-T1. The ONLY twin turbo shadow ever produced. Signed "100% Shadow, Don Nichols". Built by Don Nichols to challenge the turbocharged Porsche 917 in the Can-Am Championship. Designed by Tony Southgate and raced by Jackie Oliver and Vic Elford during the 1973 season. It has a 494 ci, 8.1 liter Reynolds Big Block Chevrolet engine with Schweitzer twin turbos and Bendix fuel injection system. Fully sorted and restored in 2009. Not raced since restoration.
