Description:
1969 Dulon LD4c Complete restoration in 2015 by former race engineer, Charles Schmidt, in San Diego. The car was rebodied with a new Lotus 51 fiberglass body from Curtis Unlimited. Since restoration, the car has been used in only a lapping day and a CVAR school. Every part was refurbished or replaced. Original frame was crack checked and measured, and is in perfect condition. All suspension components were newly nickel plated. New Tillet seat, Willans belts. Lightweight Aluminum open trailer is also available for the car.
History
Engineers Andrew Duncan and Bill Longley used their experience with Lotus to begin making their own formula ford design under the Dulon name in 1967. In 1968 they formed their company, Maxperenco, to desingn, build and sell internationally their Dulon formula cars. A large share of their cars were sold internationlly as kit cars.Performance Data
