Description:
The current owner has carried out a complete restoration to resurrect the car to its former glory,
in its 1974 specification with a BMW engine which has since then been removed. This is a unique
opportunity to acquire one of these rare and interesting cars at a bargain price.
History
John Surtees, motorcycle and Formula 1 champion turned race car constructor, started his Formula 2
involvement with the TS10 in 1972 and this move was indeed very successful as this model won the
Formula 2 championship that same year in the hands of Mike Hailwood.
The 1973 Surtees TS15 model was the direct evolution of the championship winning TS10.
Although powered by good Hart engines, the cars were no match for the fast and dominant
BMW engined Marches. The Surtees team still managed to finish second in the championship and
first non-BMW team.

Raced in historic events in 1991 and 1992.
