Description:
This car was the subject of a total restoration by Peter J. Denty (Racing) in the UK.
Well known for the quality and high standard of his work, Peter Denty has carried out a detailing work on this car to concours condition.
The car raced only twice since completion of the restoration.
History
One of the first in the field when Formula Junior was introduced, the Volpini follows the conventional Italian pattern of having a front-mounted 1,100 cc Fiat engine in a simple tubular ladder frame.
Former US competition history.
Imported from the USA back to Europe in 1979.
Competition History
Raced in 1998 at Donington, driven by James Denty.
Best front engined Formula Junior in front of Lola Mk2s.
Second entry with Jeremy Bouckley at Goodwood in 1998.
This car would be a significant and competitive contender in the front engined class of the Lurani Trophy.
