Description:
This is a fully prepared, race ready Porsche 914 with a six cylinder aircooled engine. It has a fiberglas wide body by American International Racing of Burbank CA. This car was origionally a 914 2.0 litre when it was first raced in 1980 (current SCCA logbook shows this cars history from then to present). This car has an AMB Transponder used by most racing organizations for timing and scoring. It can be raced in "SCCA GT2 class, PCCA, Vintage and many other racing organizations with little modification. There are only a minimal amount of spare parts included. This car has the best of everything (see following technical data list). I have over $58,000 worth of receipts for expenses building this car. It was re-built by the owner-driver who has been building and racing one thing or another since the mid 60's. The engine and upsidedown transaxle were built by Valkyre Racing of Houston TX. Pro Technik,Inc of Houston assisted in chassis modifications. D. C. Racing and Development of Irving, TX assisted in transaxle developement and maintenance. Although the owner is 72 years old and not a very good driver, he still became the SCCA Southwest Division Champion in 2005. A failing heart requires the retirement from racing and the sale of this car.
