Description:
The great Porsche is a 1991 911 (964) Carrera 2 which has been used as a dedicated racecar since the mid-2000's. I purchased it from the owner in 2008 who did some of the conversion and started racing the car prior to that. It is a straight, no-incident, midnight blue 911. The car has been used as a DE car, PBOC racer (in R-5 with the previous owner, now it is class-able as R-4), and a NASA time trial car. The car is in very good condition for a long-term racecar - far above average overall (including the paint) with a brand new, unused interior. It would be great and competitive for PBOC, NASA, HSR, PCA, etc. I TT'd the car with NASA and Super Solo'd with PBOC so I don't have any logbooks on it. I do have a 3-ring binder with extensive records on the car, and I have almost $36,000 of work on the car documented since May 2008. All work has been done professionally by GermanTech and Vortex Motorsports in Tampa Bay, Florida, and there is some more money in the trailer. It is a great racecar package, but it's simply not being used enough. In fact, I have not used the car on a track since July 2010, and the bulk of the expensive mechanical work has very low hours. The new interior is out-of-the-box fresh and has never been used at the track. An Exige that I can use as a barely-streetable car to drive to Sebring, PBIR, Homestead, etc would serve my needs better. A 2000 Haulmark enclosed trailer with fresh breakaway, paint, and tires is matched to the car and included. The trailer is in very good shape with a number of PitPal products, a painted floor, and an aluminum surface to the ramps.
History
Previously campaigned as PBOC R-5 Racer (now class-able as R-4 racer), and I now drive as a PBOC Super Solo car. Also runs as a NASA TT Class B racer. Could be classed as a competitive PCA GT or Class G/H racer. The car will run high 2:20's at Sebring all day long.Performance Data
