1992 Porsche 968 "Firehawk/Club Sport clone" - SOLD
This is now SOLD. Search for similar items.
Description:
This stunning Porsche 968 has been prepared for SVRA Group 8 B-Production competition and built around the IMSA Firestone Firehawk GS preparation rules. It could also be raced with other vintage groups, PCA (F Stock), NASA or used for track days. It is in period-correct Firehawk livery, but please note this car is a "clone" and did not compete in that series. It also has the suspension and brake modifications of the rare factory Club Sport cars. Then engine was rebuilt less than 200 miles ago and has light porting in the head to improve flow. This car is very easy to drive and provides predictable feedback. This would be a perfect "entry" car into vintage racing or to race in enduros. It comes with 3 sets of tires mounted on Forgeline wheels, including rain tires and Hoosier DOT "slicks".
