History
History of the car. According to Sam Shalala the car was built by him for Dr. Bill Rollwitz. According to records on the internet, Sam, Bill, Andre Toennis and Shareef Malnik drove the car to a 30th place finish at the 12- Hours of Sebring on March 20, 1999. Sam and Bill drove the car at the Grand Prix at Road Atlanta on April 18, 1999 to a 34th place finish. Bill’s team name was Team Transenergy. The car was then sold to Jan Rask on July 10, 1999. The livery the car was TRG was the Team Transenergy livery used in 1999. So, the car does have IMSA history as well as Sebring 12-hour history. 2007 Finished 6th overall GTP/WSC & IMSA Bishop Cup Rolex Enduro Daytona.
