Description:
The wing on this car was specially designed for the car and is easily adjusted to different angles for different events for maximum downforce and drag for numerous turn, slower speed events or less downforce and drag for higher speed events with fewer turns. The twin chamber Mazda 13B turbocharged engine can put out up to 400 horsepower, depending on the setting of an in cockpit turbochager adjustment. The car was restored and modified in the late 1990s and was raced from 1997 to 2003 by a member of the restoration group, Ron Moreck of Performance Fabrication, Wilkes-Bare, PA. The starter needs a minor adjustment for easier starts and a new seal for the oil pan will likely solve the slow oil leak problem. Current owner is no longer able to race due to a heart condition.
