2005 Chevy Gen III Indy engine. Design and built by Cosworth and designated as XG. This is a very rare engine as they are not sold they are still being kept by Chevrolet. This one came out the Cosworth way. They where amed to be used in Lotus Custom F1 cars, but there was very few cars sold.It was completely gone thru in England, after being dynoed By Chevrolet.Everything is in new condition. The engine size is 3.5 l since a 3.5 crank was installed to make it stronger.This combination will make 750 hp.


History

Chevy works engine in 2005. This engine was origally designed to be a Ford but Ford did not whant anything to do with IRL so it was not built. But when the Chevy Gen II was not competetive they asked Cosworth to build it for Chevrolet. And they did.Sam hornish and Thomas Schecter drove.Technical Data
