Almost brand new VW GTI (JH) 1.8L race prepared engine. (Approx 10 hours on it) Prepared for use in Improved touring or street prepared classes. Absolutely maxed out. Overbored .040" and head milled to minimum thickness. New valves and valve job, springs checked, intake and exhaust match ported within SCCA rules, new bearings seals... Mid year rule clarification required building this engine for the SOLO II. nationals. (Finished 3rd in FSP behind 2 Hondas. This was the fastest VW at Nationals 2004) SCCA is letting all of FSP run the 2H engine this year, so the JH needs to go. Over 105 hp at the wheels. In Concord NC
