Rare VeganTune BDD race engine, 3-bolt head. Rods and dry sump pan embossed with “VEGANTUNE”. Rods also embossed as “1F 6200 BA”. Cam gear embossed with “BA0026”. Some information found on the net show a Ford/Vegantune engine was used in a winning BT29 in the late 60s and a 16v Vegantune engine was displayed at the Birmingham auto show is the late 60s.

While the engine is similar to Cosworth BDA, final machining is believed to have been performed by Vegantune as the valve guides were found to have a larger OD than Cosworth requiring custom guides.

Could this have been VeganTune entry into the BDA market?
