1972 Atech Dsr ,  built by Dale Tholen in san Diego Calif in 1972. this is the only one of 5 built that sill has the fiat based motor in it. there are 3 known but the other 2 have motorcycle motors in them. this is powered by a Fiat 850 based motor. should be around 950 cc now . the head is a PBS built 8 port cross flow head,with weber 40 dcoe carbs, the original Astech cross flow head and intake comes with the car. along with 4 rear and 2 front new uprights.has 4 wheel disc brakes and a webster 5 speed gear box. the body is fiberglass and comes with a large mold for the front end,car has a wet weight of 915 lb.car has been raced with HSR and VARA for 10 years with the last race in 2017.comes with a original SCCA log book,this car was raced by Joe Forg of Los Angeles Calif, and was always a top 3 runner in his day. the roll bar is 1 1/2 diameter and is 120 wall thick,car come with original rear wing, has 13 in wheels and has two new master cylinders installed. this car is a blast to drive, it goes were you point it, alot of my passing is done under braking with a 915 lb weight, i have a second DSR i still race but i found out its not easy to compete with 2 cars. im 6 ft 5 in and can easy dive this car, lots of room.
