Listing now is a very special 1974 Lotus Europa! This is a 'one-off chassis' made for the Daytona 24hr race, which it finished. We have a large amount of paperwork and history on this Lotus. The chassis sat neglected, and in disrepair for decades until our client commissioned a professional race shop to completely restore this very fast Europa! Powered by Cosworth...the high revving power for this lightweight car. Backed by an FT200 box, this is a very fast and absolutely one of the best handling cars ever made! The power to weight ratio is exceptional on this fiberglass bodied and beautiful race car.
Restoration cost was $120,000. My client unfortunately does not have time for this any longer, his business is great, and the family has expanded! We would really like this to go to a good home! This Lotus is accepted everywhere for Vintage racing.
Available for viewing with appointment in the Los Angeles area. Nice and dry storage and started periodically. I can personally attest to the handling as I owned a Europa in 1977, they are so fun...
