Description:
The house finally sold and we are ready to move to the West Coast. I decided to update this ad. I am the third owner of the car. The previous owners noted that it has always been a race car. This is confirmed over all condition including an original floor pan and perfect rear spring pockets. It races on an old SCCA log book #84-022 issued in 1973 and listing the last race on 21 September 1974 when it was parked in a shop. I purchased the car in August 1998 and completed a restoration and preparation for vintage racing. This included the addition of a fuel cell, dual brake system, better seat and roll bar with side protection. Additional improvements included the repair of the hinge pillars and lower rear fenders which had shown some rust bubbles. The sale includes the car, a CD with a detailed custom history/shop manual that includes schematics/parts plus some spares. It has a new 2011 safety harness and new Hoosier tires.
History
It has an SCCA log book #84-022 issued in 1973 and listing the last race on 21 September 1974 when it was parked in a shop. Since 2006 I have been competing in SCCA sanctioned Pennsylvania Hillclimb Association (PHA) time trials and hillclimbs. It was the Small Bore Vintage class champion in 2010. It is legal in any vintage race organization.Engine
