than "Ford Escort" designs. The car is a works Ford Sierra Cosworth 4x4" - DTT-ONS specification,
group N. Some of it's outstanding qualities include superior material of brake discs and
a full welded "Matter" cage integrated into the unibody.
The car was specially assembled for the Wolf team by the Ford works and has successfully competed
in the DTT from '91 thru '96.

History

The car was constructed for the Wolf team by the Ford works. It has been driven
by B. Bermel from 1994 till 1996 and by Michael Funke, who has taken a second
place in the DTT series this year. Funke brought the car to the Eggenberger team, which made it more
powerful and reliable. The improvements let Funke beat current Wolf Escorts and
Works BMW M3s several times. Bermel and Funke won DTT races in '93, '94 and '95
and finished in Top 3. Funke had 6 DTT starts in '95 and took podiums
three times (1 first place, 2 seconds, 2 thirds) and twice failed to finish the race
because of collisions.
