This car was run in Firestone livery for one year in 1996 by Patrick Racing and driven by Scott Pruett. At the end of the year, the car was painted in Visteon livery and used as a show car for the following season and this is how the car is offered. I have owned the 1995 Patrick Lola that was run in Firestone livery, have many pictures of the car and can return this 1996 chassis to the original Firestone livery at buyer’s request. All elements of the car have been addressed. All uprights and suspension have been disassembled, crack tested, painted and reassembled. The gearbox was torn down, converted back to road course configuration (from oval as it last ran at Fontana), crack tested and a new bevel gear and gear stack was fitted. The Cosworth XD engine, serial number XD021, is fresh from Cosworth Torrance and has not been started. In fact, the car has not run since 1996. The fuel cell was completely refreshed inclusive of a fresh fuel pump from Cosworth. The fuel control is also the proper Cosworth fuel control as run in 1996 complete with automatic boost control, torque control and no lift to shift. In short, this is a fresh single season high budget team car that has no tub damage and is exceptionally clean. The data acquisition system and dash are new Motec and use the Cosworth ECU data stream for recording all engine related data. The Motec system is more reliable than the original Pi Data system and much easier to support. The car is offered in full running condition in road course configuration. The price as listed does not include seller's comission, completion of TT44 dampers or spares. These are seperate items. BUYER IS RESPONSIBLE for SELLER'S COMISSION for this site. There are a few minor items that must be completed prior to delivering the car. A list of these items is provided at the bottom of this information. The following are spares NOT INCLUDED in the offerred price no matter what is indicated........ The car is offered with a fresh spare XD engine complete with Cosworth Fuel Control. The car is supplied with all necessary running gear inclusive of the following. This is not a complete list but is intended to provide and idea of the depth of the spares package. • Engine data cables • Laptop with XD support software installed • Air jacks for placing the car on high stands • Rear wheel jack for moving the car • Carbon rear high stands with steel front high stand • Custom aluminum honeycomb set up pads with integral scales and carbon ramps • Air gun with titanium wheel nut socket • Second titanium wheel nut socket for hand torque wheel nuts • Two sets of running rims, one with a new set of Goodyear Historic Indycar tires • One set of large diameter transport wheels/tires • One set of Firestone show tires/wheels • Starter with 20’ power cable • 3rd spring equipment • Selection of primary springs • Selection of gears • Lay shafts, first/second shafts, bevel gear set, bearings, differentials and more gearbox related parts • Spare hot section including headers, turbo housing, y pipes and exhaust • Turbo rebuild kits • Waste gate rebuild kits • Clutch and throw out bearing holder • Metalor drive shafts (inspected and recoated by Metalor) • New radiators in the car and a second new set of radiators • Two spare oil coolers • Spare front nose and wing • Spare rear wing • Extensive brake rotors and pads • Carbon brake ducts and related items Open items that will be addressed prior to delivering the car- • Complete Motec Dash harness, currently 75% complete • Test complete Motec system • Complete boost control plumbing • Complete mock up of damper remote reservoir location, hose lengths and hose orientation then have the Ohliens TT44s built • Do a final set up with dampers installed • Fire up the car and verify all systems Optionally available is a 38 foot Featherlite stacker trailer and Ford dually tow vehicle.
