complete unmolested car. roughly 40 races from brand new . last race on 01 then put to sleep in a " barn " . car is complete with engine. tub is absolutely perfect and the car is roughly 95% factory original. what isn't original is nickel and dime stuff. the body is rough but serviceable. has a carbon nose, glass center and tail and what appears to be original Kevlar sidepods. nose is perfect . just needs paint. center section is cracked and needs refurb and paint. tail has been modified ( actually nicely ) to be extended 6 " but is heavy. motor is a butler that turns freely. has one set of compmotive wheels and one set of dymags, a new set of radiators in boxes but not much else for spares. put a new cell and belts , battery etc in it and go race it and have a hell of a time. or spend 10k on for a new body and general refurb and end up with a concours completely original lola s2 that in a few years you can double your money with don't be one of those people that sees a car like this 10 years from now and says ... " geeze I could have bought that car for pocket change in 2019 . $ 19,500 exactly as it sits where it sits. no offers , no tire kickers and no time wasters. now... for the uninitiated... this is a genuine, real , honest to god FIA homologated race car. not some kit car or hot rod. if you don't know what any of this means then you are not the person to be considering buying this. the buyer for this car is someone that wants to go SCCA racing in P1 or P2 for fun or someone that wants to go vintage racing ( perfect for that ) or a collector looking for a long term investment. the car has the correct shocks on it, the correct brakes on it and all the important stuff . the key thing is that the car does NOT need a full restoration as so many of these older race cars do. the log books have about 40 races in them with no write ups, and no damage. the only evidence of its history are the typical battle scars on the bodywork. the tub, and all suspension are all virgin. brand new bodywork is available off the shelf in either carbon or kevlar . the car is located in north carolina , about an hour from VIR.

no idea. my versions of this car won 2 national championships and more national races and divisional championships than you can count. beat all the swifts and tigas like rented dogs...
