This is now SOLD. Search for similar items.
Description:
This is almost certainly the world's only Lola/Crossle! A competent regional car, it was
built by a race car engineer at the Scip Barber school. Lola T-252 from the hoop back, and Crossle
50F cockpit forward, it has an SCCA logbook and is homologated as a Lola/Crossle. It has a built
1.7L engine, good Mk 8 with 23 gearsets, trailer, and spares. Worth the price of the parts.
History
In 1985 Frank Resichetti, who went on to build the Swift chassis for John Andretti, was at the
Skip Barber Racing School and built this car from a 50F which had been hit in the rear and an ex-Dick
Scott T-252 which went in at the front. The Lola had been campaigned by Scott in the 70s.
