1956 Lotus 11 LeMans - SOLD

Description:
Car completely restored 1999 by KTR Motorsports, Ayer, MA and in my possession run once a year at a track day (not raced). Car is LeMans style with Coventry Climax FWE engine (approx 100 hp). Alfa 4-speed transmission. Wheels (wire): Front 15"x4.50", Rear 15"x5.00" Dunlop racing tires. Fire system. Mechanical condition perfect. Body excellent, only some cracked paint around driver windscreen on metal tonneau. Two SCCA logbooks.
History
100th Lotus Eleven produced (Series 1). Imported by Jay Chamberlain in 1956 and raced on West Coast. According to 2 logbooks, was raced by Dudley Cunningham in the 1990's and purchased by Donald Kaas of Philadelphia in late 90's who had it restored. I purchased it in 2000 from Mr Kaas and the car has been in an auto museum since.
