1952 Simca 8 sport convertible. Alloy bodied by Facel Metallon under the license from Pininfarina. Doors, trunklid, hood and sills are steel The car is missing the original engine , transmission, seats, gauges, taillights, headlight rings and one door handle. These cars had some interesting race History, it won the 1949 Alpine ralley and also won 1st in its class at Le Mans in 1950. The original engine was a 1221cc Simca engine which I believe was a Fiat based engine, now fitted with a small flat head V8. This car is being sold as a parts car.
