Description:

This car was originally restored 1992 by the previous owner in France and used to compete in the European Historical F2 Trophy. It was imported to the US by the current owner in 2002 and received a complete two year restoration including all new suspension components. The car is in excellent condition and has only been raced twice since the restoration. The history of the car is known from new. It has FIA papers and a FFSA Passport. The car is currently race ready needing only new tires to win in Monoposto Formula Classic!


History

This car was used by Clay Regazzoni at the end of the 1969 F2 season. Disappointed with the performance of his Ferrari Dino F2 car in the first half of the year, he returned to Tecno as a works driver. He drove this car to 4th place at Enna in 1969. The car was then driven by Jean-Louis Staiano to a 4th place finish in the French Nation Hill Climb Championship in 1970 and 3rd in 1971 chanpionship with a FVC engine.Performance Data
