Description:
Very nice 1969 VW Bug with a 1965 body. Built as a labor of love by a VW fanatic. It was raced with the Midwestern Council of Sports Car Clubs as a VW Sedan. Built with safety and reliability in mind, but also very fast. Engine is 1600cc built by Kawell Racing Engines. Front brakes are Karmann Ghia discs, rears are Type 3 drums. New battery in December, 2006. Too many spares to list. Needs only current seat belts to be race ready. Would be vintage eligible with 6 inch wheels and vintage tires. There is no cheaper way to go racing.
