Description:

A unique and fast 1971 TVR Vixen 2500 C-Production racer. Excellent appearance (see pp 46 of the November, 2007 issue of Victory Lane Magazine). The car features a tubular steel frame with an all-fiberglass body. Engine, transmission and diff are TR-6. The engine has been built for a compromise between power and reliability and has been documented as developing 158 hp at the rear wheels on a chassis dyno. The car has an on-board fire-suppression system, full roll cage, fuel cell, racing seat. accusump system and many other features. The car is maintained and prepped by Pinnacle Autosports of Justin, Texas. Last raced the weekend of November 30-Dec 2, 2007 and has been in pickled storage since then. It can be seen at Pinnacle Autosports in Justin (nr Fort Worth), TX. The car is not street legal and is untitled.

History

The car was built as a street car by TVR in England. Production was less than 300 units. Although the Vixen chassis was offered with a variety of engine/transmission/read-end combinations, most of those that came to the US were 2500s. The previous owner built it into a race car in 1996. Since acquiring the car in 2001 I have conducted an extensive upgrade and development program on every system on the car and it has become very competitive and reliable. The car has been raced exclusively with CVAR, but is eligible for any vintage event.Performance Data
