1974 Porsche 911 RS Replica - with RSR Top End This car was built from a bare shell 3 years ago to compete on the track and in historic rallies. Weight 950kg Power 380hp. The car has a CAMS log book. Body 3.0l RS body shape, Biaxial Fibreglass front guards and rear bumper, Fibreglass tail and front bumper (with kevlar splitter/ undertray), Carbon fibre bonnet and doors (with a set of steel doors for rally), All polycarbonate windows (except glass screen) tinted and finished to match original factory appearance. Interior CAMS registered Steel/Chromemoly roll cage extending to all four suspension pickup points, with double tube side intrusion beams. Belts are 3in 6 point for driver and 2in 4 point for passenger/navigator and are current Seats are Racetech with side head bolsters for driver and Velo for passenger/navigator Steering wheel is a detachable silver (rare) Momo Prototipo - as used in a number of original RSRs Wiring The wiring loom was new 3 years ago and contains 2-3 spare/ redundant plugs in each of the front, interior and rear some of which are already switchable from the dash. Instruments/sensors Sensors terminated in the cockpit ready for attachment to a logger include, steering position, throttle position, RPM, wheel probe, exhaust gas temp x 2 (1 thermocouple in each header pipe collector + provision in each of the six header pipes, allowing individual cylinders to be monitored), fuel pressure to the mechanical pump, oil pressure, oil temperature. A Brantz Laser 3 rally trip meter is installed. Brakes GT3 front brakes and 993 Rear Brakes with Tilton adjustable bias. Close ratio - currently geared for a max speed of 240kmph (two sets of new alternative 5th gear ratios are available) Factory endurance cooling and spraybars - except a Tilton oil pump is used which is switchable from the dash Engine 3.5l producing 370-380hp on 98 petrol (at least 10hp more on Martini M102) at 7800rrpm Max rpm - 8200 The engine now has 65 hours (a VDO hour meter is wired in) since its construction The engine is constructed of the following components: Crankcase - 3.2 Carrera/Turbo Crankshaft - 3.2 Carrera/Turbo Conrods - Carrillo Pistons and Cylinders - Andial Heads - 3.2 Carrera Cam chain covers - RSR centre lube Cams - RSR center lube (new at build - now with 65hrs) (a spare set of RSR cams are also available) Valves - 3.2 Carrera (41.9mm exhaust, 49mm Inlet) Valve springs and retainers - RSR Rocker Arms -RSR Mechanical Fuel Injection - Bosch, modified by Bosch Germany to 3.5l RSR specs Injectors - RSR Distributor - Bosch twin plug RSR cap and rotor button with modified SC distributor Throttle- Slide throttle bodies Exhaust - 45mm ceramic coated header pipes into stainless steel megaphones (a quieter set of pipes comes with the car, consisting of mufflers into baffled megaphones - shown in the picture of the rear of the car) NB -The RSR parts listed above are genuine factory parts The engine has just undergone a complete rebuild (at 65 hours) including crack testing and rebalancing of the crankshaft, conrods, pistons and cylinders. The cylinders were also re-nikasiled. The car is currently registered in Victoria.
