1986 Ralt rt4 professionally converted with support from Bell Motorsports, Ketchum Fabrication, Gallup Engineering And CLR rotary. Rear frame and suspension pickup points significantly strengthened to eliminate flex. Rear rocker pickup plate changed from 1/4" aluminum to 3/8" titanium. MS, NAS, and AN hardware throughout. Marc Bahner tub rebuild #4-005-88. Fresh rebuild on strong CLR 12a streetport. Ianntti ceramic apex seals, hardend stationary gears, rotor housing water passages modified for improved cooling. Rotors have been balanced, scalloped and clearanced. Weaver external dry sump oil pump. Rare lightweight high torque starter. Intake, exhaust and porting designed and tested on dyno for strong mid-range torque so it would be powerful without having to rev too high for longer life. Custom muffler, has always met sound regulations. Fresh rebuilt calipers, new master cylinders, current Impact harness. Most parts to convert back to Cosworth. Do not know fuel cell number but rebuilt in 2005 with new foam and added internal surge tank. Dual homoligation FA/FS. Rotary likes low octane fuel so pump gas works fine. Lots of spares. Race ready. Fast,reliable and fun to drive. Possible Sports 2000 trade.


History

1986 FA SCCA national champion (Chris Clark). Ran pro atlantic (Mike Buckman) and west (Mark Landon) and east coast club races until 1995. Conversion completed 2000.Since: 20 races 11 wins. Podium FS 2005 ARRC (Dennis Dobkin)
