Description:

Brighton Motorsports is pleased to present this very well built 1969 Triumph TR6 Race Car. This TR was built to go to the track in 1970 and has been updated in accordance to the VSCCA rules since. We have some of the race history that lists the venues of the races it has participated in. We also have the original Iowa title from 1969, a competition preparation manual from Triumph, paperwork on the engine and chassis build, several old photographs of the car in action, a copy of the program for the 1970 June Sprints at Road America and another program from July, 1974. This engine was dyno tested in March, 2005. We have a sheet that states the results were 180hp and 162.5 lb/ft of torque at the wheels. It's been repainted the original factory color of dark blue with a black interior. It wears some SCCA decals and the number 44. The engine is based on the standard TR6's inline 6 cylinder and runs three 2 barrel Weber carbs with a beautiful custom built aluminum air intake box. It shifts with authority through a Muncie 4-speed with great gear ratios. It was professionally built, it runs tight & strong, sounds great, and makes gobs of power. It has an on-board electric timing and fire supression system. with the sale of this car comes 2 brand new Hoosier racing slicks and a fresh Triumph 6 cylinder long block. We have spent thousands of dollars recently on this car and haven't even used it on the track yet! We installed a new driveshaft and halfshafts, a new dual res brake booster and calipers. This is a turn key vintage race car that needs little to nothing and is ready to run. Brighton Motorsports strives to accommodate our customers by providing accurate, honest information about our vehicles. More importantly, we make the buying experience fun, simple, and stress-free.
