Description:
This transaxle was purchased new from PBS Engineering in Garden Grove, Ca around 1977 and never installed in the intended car. Zero miles, no races, nothing except storage. It was disassembled 10-29-2016 to verify internal condition and gear ratios. Side plates are ADF MKI. It is currently assembled to be mid-engine, in the standard VW configuration, i.e., starter on top. It has the standard VW tail housing and shift rod installed as well as a standard VW input shaft.
