Description:
Motor is out of my Brabham BT-18. Excellent block is NOT an "L", looks to be a street Cortina (8.20" tall w/ spacer to head @ front). Numbers on block are: FOMOCO D-A, 681F6015DA, 9E23, T3, and Loyning 08-933. Block has 4 hours since being race prepped by Loyning, .003" over. Big Valve Weber head has 4 hours since prep but developed crack in #1 @ the spark plug. Crack is small (failed leak down) but Dave Vegher says not to race it again. Might be OK for street use, has valves. Excellent crank is John Wilcox steel short (69mm) stroke #250397, nitrided, 12 bolt at flywheel, ready to go, standard narrow journals. Rods are GAF w/ ARP2000 bolts, approx 5.03" c to c. 3.289" JE pistons. Cams are OK but VERY mild. Has idler & box of clips, retainers, etc. NO carbs, pumps, flywheel, clutch, pan, front/rear covers, or mounts - only the parts listed above. Motor dynoed at 169 with these parts, probably the max for the short stroke & cams. Will consider selling parts.
