Description:
This car is a custom built recreation of the Gurney Eagle Mk1, designed similar to the F1, but qualifiying as a Formula B car.
The body is composed of aluminum panel constuction, with upper bodywork and nose created in composites, mounted to a combination of semi monocoque and tube frame design. The car meets all current safety standards for vintage racing, and includes a new fuel cell, fire system and six point harness.
The engine is a Kent based 1600 cc, built by Ivey Engines, with twin Webers, all steel internals, including custom pistons, crank, rods and F3 clutch. It produces 170 horsepower and build and dyno sheets are available. The engine is fresh, with dyno time only.
Gearbox is a Hewland Mk 8, recently refreshed, and includes spare gearsets.
The car is completely fresh, and in addition to custom fabrication, includes many new parts such as aluminum radiator, drive axles, cv's, fuel pump, oil pump, and gauges.
