This 2014 Ferrari 458 is one of approximately 150 Challenge race cars that were factory-built to compete in the single-marque competition series between 2012 and 2015. The car was acquired from Risi Competition racing team of Houston, TX in 2018. Power comes from a 4.5- liter V8 mated to a seven-speed dual-clutch gearbox with an electronic differential.

The 458 Challenge was also the first of the series to offer drivers the assistance of F1-Trac stability control, with three modes permitting progressively more assistance from the onboard electronics to aid less experienced drivers in low-grip conditions.

BBS 19′′ center-lock wheels wear Pirelli tires sized 275/675/19 up front and 315/705/19 at the rear. Braking is handled by Brembo calipers paired with High performance Giro-Disk brake rotors. The 458 Challenge came factory equipped with solid aluminum bushings, stiffer springs, single-rate dampers, and a ride height lowered by 30mm all round.

The cockpit is equipped with a roll cage as well as six-point Sabelt harnesses over cloth- covered Sabelt racing seats accented with red stitching. Features include air conditioning, OMP Racing fire suppression equipment, and more.

An Alcantara-trimmed multi-function steering wheel with shift paddles and control buttons is mounted ahead of a digital instrument cluster that includes a lap timer, a gear indicator, shift lights, a tachometer, and an odometer showing 10,744 miles. Approximately 900 miles have been added since we change the transmission, 0 miles since new wrap.

458 Challenge EVO, compared to the 458 Challenge, has been boosted by the addition of an aerodynamic with several updates to improved handling. The most striking change is the rear wing that looks like the one used in GT competitions. It provides a lot more downforce for much better cornering. Then there are also a new front splitter and an even better designed underbody, which have allowed the Ferrari engineers to fit stiffer front springs and improve the braking system.
